Bright and warm (OK HOT) the Phoenix is a Full City Roast that is a richer bolder more vibrant taste and aroma. The aroma is big and full. Almost like walking outside from the AC to the Desert heat in the summertime.

The character of this roast is reminiscent of the history of the city itself, from ancient civilizations to modernized greatness Phoenix has stood the test of time itself. This coffee is a bit higher in acidity and has a bit of a bite that is not bitter or so full that it lingers in your mouth.

Phoenix is the perfect choice for Iced Coffee blends for those sweltering days to a soul warming Espresso.

This is our darkest roast daily roast and considered the MAX Full City Roast. We just cannot come up with a city name for this roast without offending someone, so you can call it what you want. Because of its bold flavor profile and what we would consider a shortened shelf life, we prepare this roast small batch roast twice monthly by order only.

Our Roaster recommend that the best method of brewing this roast is with a French Press to bring out all of the acidity and boldness along with the dark undertones of chocolate and caramel.
